New Delhi – During the executive meeting of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) here on the night of October 28, offensive remarks were made by communists about Deity Shriram. Swatantryaveer Savarkar was also insulted. Due to this, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) shut down the meeting. The ABVP members were firm on receiving an apology to continue with the meeting, but the communists did not agree and cancelled the meeting, reported ABVP members. There are also reports of clashes between the two student organizations this time. Videos of this meeting have also come up, wherein both the groups are seen shouting slogans.
