Fresh case of ‘Love Jihad’ in Delhi

New Delhi – A 19-year-old Hindu girl was brutally murdered by her Muslim boyfriend in Delhi’s Nangloi area. She was seven months pregnant. She had asked her boyfriend Salim to marry her. So, Salim, with the help of two of his Muslim friends, killed the victim in Rohtak, Haryana, and later buried her body in a field.

The Police said the victim girl had been urging Salim to marry her after she became pregnant; but Salim was not ready for marriage. He was advising her to have an abortion. They often had altercation on this issue. On October 21, 2024, the victim took some items from her house and went to meet Salim. After she went missing, her brother lodged a Police complaint. The Police have arrested Salim and one of his friends in this case. They are investigating the matter further.
