Comprehensiveness of the word ‘Hindu’
A Sanskrut proverb – ‘ हीनान् गुणान् दूषयति इति हिंदुः ।’ (Hinan Gunan Dushayati Iti Hindu) explains the origin of the word Hindu. The meaning of this proverb is ‘One who overcomes the inferior, lowly Raja-Tama components in himself is a Hindu.
How many devout Hindu organisations teach this aspect of Dharma to their activists ?
