Eight persons named in the case

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – An FIR has finally been registered at the Ram Janmabhoomi Police Station in connection with the theft of donations from the Shri Ram Temple here. A total of eight persons have been named in the case: Tinnu Yadav, Manish Yadav, Anukalp Mishra, Avinash Shukla, Ramshankar Mishra, Subhash, Kurunesh and Lavkush Mishra. However, no senior office-bearer of the Trust has been named.
Anukalp Mishra and Lavkush Mishra have been arrested. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust following the preliminary report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Charges have been registered under Sections 306, 316(5), 317(4), 317(5), 61 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal conspiracy.
