Police resort to lathicharge for misbehaving with police

Mumbai – Religious fanatics shouted slogans of ‘Sarr Tan Se Judaa’ (beheading) in the Sambhajinagar to Mumbai tricolor rally led by former AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel. This rally was taken out towards Mumbai protesting against BJP leader Nitesh Rane and Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj. Religious fanatics misbehaved and argued with police. (Religious fanatics have the courage to misbehave with the police, this shows that they have no fear of the police! – Editor) This led to the police lathicharge. Green flags were hoisted on thousands of vehicles in the ferry. Slogans of ‘Nara-e-Takbir’ (Allah is the greatest) and ‘Sarr Tan Se Juda’ were being raised by fanatics. A large contingent of Mumbai Police was deployed to stop the mob. The ferry led to traffic snarls in many parts of Mumbai. On the request of Thane district officials and police administration, the ferry was diverted back towards Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Editorial Perspectives
- Strict action should be taken against the religious fanatics of jihadi mentality who come to Mumbai from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and try to disturb the environment there, as well as law and order !
- Such slogans being raised in the rallies by AIMIM which otherwise vouches by Constitution shows the true nature of the party !
