Buldhana – In Jalgaon Jamod in the District, religious fanatics cut off the electricity and pelted stones at a Ganesh immersion procession when it was passing through Choubhara area of ​​Waili Ves area. The incident took place on September 17 at 9 p.m. Reportedly, many Policemen and Ganesh devotees were injured in this incident.

1. The fanatics pelted stones at the procession from the window of a high-rise building, while some vandalised vehicles parked below. In response, Ganesh devotees also pelted stones. The Police used batons to disperse the Ganesh devotees.

2. As 150 to 200 people suddenly came forward, the Police fired plastic bullets in the air.

3. The Police did not take the fanatics into custody till the end. The village was in extreme tense atmosphere after the incident.

Ganeshotsav mandals stop the procession for 12 hours on the spot

After this incident, 15 Ganeshotsav mandals of the village took an aggressive stand saying ‘Until the miscreants who pelted stones are caught, we will not immerse the idols of Shri Ganesh’. Because of this, even after 12 hours, the procession was stopped at the spot.

It has become a routine for the religious fanatics to attack Hindu processions and for the Police to further oppress the Hindus. Establishing the Hindu Rashtra by effectively uniting Hindus is the only solution to prevent this.
