Naxalites hang two villagers suspecting them to be Police informers

Outrageous incident in Chhattisgarh

 

Bijapur (Chhattisgarh) – In a remote village of the District, Naxalites executed two villagers by hanging them, suspecting them to be Police informers. The Naxalites had recently abducted 3 villagers, including a school student, from Jappemarka village. Following their abduction, the Naxalites conducted a ‘Jan Adalat’. (It is shameful that the people’s Court, i.e. a parallel judicial system, is run by the Naxalites – Editor). and sentenced the 2 villagers to death by hanging. The school student was released. A senior Police officer has confirmed that a special Police team is currently investigating the incident.

The Bhairamgad Area Committee of the Maoists has claimed responsibility for the murders, alleging that the 2 deceased were acting as Police informers.

4 Naxalites surrender

4 Naxalites, who were involved in multiple violent incidents in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker District and had a collective reward worth Rs 12,00,000 on them, have surrendered to the security forces, according to the Police reports.
