Indian electric distribution companies yet to receive over Rs 9,500 crore from Bangladesh

Dhaka – Bangladesh owes over Rs 9,500 crore to Indian electric distribution companies. This money is stuck after the overthrow of the Sheikh Hasina Government in Bangladesh. Bangladesh owes about Rs 6,700 crore to Adani Power. At present, Indian companies are supplying power to Bangladesh on credit.
