Incident at Palnadu (Andhra Pradesh)
Palnadu (Andhra Pradesh) – Pro-Hindu organisations have staged agitation against letting out shops in the building premises constructed for the stay of Hindu saints and devotees. They have demanded to oust all non-Hindus running shops around their building.
1. About a hundred years ago, a businessman from Piduguralla village had constructed a building for lodging and boarding of Hindu pilgrims including saints and devotees.
2. Later, this building was taken over by the Endowment Department. The shops built in the premises of this building are given on rent through public auction for a period of three years. Non-Hindus are not allowed to take part in this auction and Hindus are not allowed to rent them to non-Hindus to run.
3. Despite this rule, two Hindus have rented the shops acquired through auction to Muslims. (Constant dose of secularism to Hindus has led to such Gandhigiri by Hindus. The history tells us that such Gandhigiri has led to their own destruction though – Editor). Different pro- Hindu organisations such as Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Rashtriya Shiv Sena, Rashtriya Vanara Sena and Hindu Devalaya Parikshan Samiti came together against this issue and strongly opposed such auction.

4. They submitted an application to the Endowment Department requesting to remove Muslims from the site.
5. It has been demanded that within a month i.e. in August, there will be an auction once again when non-Hindus should not be allowed in any situation and the non-Hindus present there now, should be asked to leave immediately.
6. It was decided that if the shops were given to non-Hindus by going against the Endowment Department’s rules, only to appease the minorities, then all the pro-Hindu organisations would stage mass agitations across the State.
