Rome (Italy) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Italy on 13th June to attend the G7 (US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, India and Japan) summit. Ahead of his visit to Italy, Khalistan supporters vandalised the statue of Mohandas Gandhi. Khalistanis also wrote in support of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on the plinth of the statue. On this incident, the Foreign Secretary of India said that India had raised the issue of damage to M Gandhi’s statue to Italy and the statue has now been repaired.
Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will attend the G7 summit.
