That scared Anwar and he came to the local temple of Durga Ambika and apologised to the entire Hindu community. He admitted his mistake by saying, “Henceforth, I will never insult Hindu community or Hindu beliefs. Furthermore, I will not spread anti-Hindu propaganda and provoke Hindu society.”
