10 to 12 naxals injured

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) – Once again, an encounter has triggered between security forces and naxals in Dantewada near the border of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra States. Seven naxals were killed and 10-12 injured in this operation by security forces. Several weapons were recovered from the naxals who were killed in this encounter.
Currently a strong team of around 1,000 soldiers of Special Operations forces, District Reserve Forces, Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force and ‘Cobra Commandos’ are conducting operations against naxals. Several naxals were killed in recent operations by security forces in Kanker, Bastar and Bijapur. Some soldiers have also been injured in this operation.
