India rejects US’ accusation claiming India as a xenophobic country !

New Delhi – Union Minister for External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar has criticised US President Joe Biden’s terming India as xenophobic and putting India in the category of economically distressed countries. Jaishankar said, ‘India has been a very unique country. I would say actually, in the history of the world, that it’s been a society which has been very open, and different people from different societies come to India’.
Biden had earlier made baseless claims that India is a ‘ xenophobic’ country that shows displeasure towards immigrants, and which is why it cannot develop economically.
