Election results could be affected
Hyderabad (Telengana) – The Election Commission has removed 6 lakh names from the voters list in the Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency. The names that have been deleted are those persons who have died, or relocated to another constituencies, or forged names. This can have some effect on the results. Since 2002, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has been elected from here. The claim is that Owaisi was getting elected because of these bogus names in the voting list.
