Spooked by India’s Response, Pakistan Begins Missile Tests

New Delhi – In the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and India’s strong signals of retaliation, a rattled Pakistan has begun missile testing. On April 25, Pakistan issued a notice for a test of a surface-to-surface missile in its Special Economic Zone near the Karachi coast. According to sources in Indian defence and security establishments, the Pakistani Navy has initiated these drills, and its air defences have been put on alert.

Indian Navy Fires Warning Shot : Successful Missile Test from INS Surat

While Pakistan was still preparing for its test, India had already fired a warning shot — successfully testing a missile on April 24. The Indian Navy’s latest indigenous guided-missile destroyer, INS Surat, precisely struck its target in the Arabian Sea. This successful trial marks a significant milestone in strengthening India’s defence capabilities.
