Surat, Gujarat – Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be held in 7 phases and the results will be declared on 4th June. However, Surat in Gujarat has already seen election victory. A BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal has won his Lok Sabha seat unopposed even before actual polling was even held.
Eight candidates from Surat withdrew their nominations on the day of withdrawing nominations. Thus, Mukesh Dalal won even before even a vote was cast.
The election for Surat Lok Sabha seat was supposed to take place on 7th May.
