
Belthangady (Karnataka) – Police confiscated 87 kg of beef by raiding an illegal slaughterhouse here. Four persons viz. Badruddin, Abdul Rehman, Khalil and Iqbal have been arrested in this context. This incident took place at Aramalebetta, Kuvettu village in Belgaum District. On a tip received by the Police about Badruddin slaughtering animals in the backyard of his house at Aramalebetta, Dy Police Inspector Muralidhar KG and his team raided the place. They confiscated 87 kgs of beef collected for sale and weapons used for the slaughter.
