Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) – The Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation has announced free bus service for Muslim women on Eid and Bakri Eid. The Administrative Director of The Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Board, Rohanchand Thakur issued this order. Muslim women will get this facility on 11th April. Muslim women will have to show their identity card to avail this facility. It is noteworthy that this is the first time such facility is provided in the State which is based on religion. Earlier all women were given this facility on Raksha Bandhan Day. Religion was not the criterion on that day.

Why Hindu women don’t get this favour on Hindu festivals ? Even in Pakistan or any other Islamic country such facility is not given, however in India wherever there is Congress regime, Muslims are given various facilities based on their religion. This point must be noted. |
