Hindu girl kidnapped, raped and murdered by a Muslim youth in Assam

Guwahati – A Muslim youth named Sarfraz Hussain kidnapped a Hindu girl, raped her, and brutally murdered her. Following this tragedy, a wave of rage spread among the public. People flocked to the streets to protest and demand the execution of Sarfraz Hussain.

A 16-year-old girl from the Mahabirstan area of Bongaigaon, Assam, left her home for work on 5th March 2024. When she did not return home until late at night, her family began looking for her. When she was not located despite their best efforts, the family filed a complaint with the Police. On 6th March, the Police opened an investigation based on this report. Finally, investigators discovered her body in a pool of blood. It was revealed that she was brutally murdered after being raped. Following this tragedy, a wave of rage spread among the public. The family of the deceased girl claimed that a Muslim youth, Sarfraz Hussain, kidnapped, raped, and murdered their daughter. The Police have begun hunting for the accused.

The grieving family of the deceased girl had previously complained to Sarfraz Hussain. According to the family’s allegations, Sarfraz Hussain lured their daughter, held her captive, raped her and ultimately brutally murdered her, leaving her lifeless body discarded on the railway tracks.

In response to the escalating tension and the gravity of the situation, a significant Police presence has been established in Bongaigaon. The community is witnessing an outpouring of collective outrage as hundreds of people take to the streets, brandishing placards, and fervently demanding justice for the victim.
