What is Halal Certification ?
Halal is a dietary law derived from Islamic teachings, meaning ‘lawful or permitted’. Earlier, the Halal Certificates were limited to meat only; but now that religious fanatics want to build their independent economy, many products such as housing, medicines, cosmetics, etc. are also Halal certified. In short, it is a Certificate to emphasise that a certain facility or item is approved as per Islam. Various international lobbying groups of religious fanatics are pressuring establishments to get these Certificates. Large establishments are also falling victim to this as pressure is being exerted on Muslim consumers to say that Halal is mandatory. Some Islamic organisations are conspiring and have approved Halal Certificates. Halal Certification is a plot of fanatics to build a parallel Islamic economy in the country.
