Congress denigrates Hindu Deities through banners in Kanpur, UP

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Kanpur on 21 st February during his ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. Large banners and posters were put up all over the city to welcome him. Rahul Gandhi’s meeting was organised at Ghantaghar Chowk. A large banner put up for this purpose portrays Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as Shrikrushna, while Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai as Arjun. Rahul Gandhi is shown the  charioteer like Shrikrushna from the Mahabharat, while Ajay Rai is seated behind like Arjun with a bow and arrow. Local Congress leader Sandeep Shukla has put up this banner. He said, “Just as Shrikrushna made Arjun win the Mahabharat war, Rahul Gandhi will also win the election against the BJP. He has become Ajay Rai’s charioteer in Uttar Pradesh.”
