Devotees of Shriram were distributing Akshat (unbroken rice grains used in rituals)
Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Congress leader Jagdish Choudhary, President of Krishna Kunj Vilas Welfare Society, insulted devotees of Shriram who were distributing the Akshat of Shriram temple from door to door, by abusing them and chasing them away. This incident was recorded in the CCTV.
The consecration ceremony of the Shriram temple will be held on 22nd January 2024. Owing to this, the devotees of Shriram are roaming from place to place and creating enthusiasm among the people. As a part of this, they have been distributing the holy Akshats since 1st January. This holy service will continue till 15th January. Some people cannot tolerate this enthusiasm of the devotees of Shriram and that is why incidents of insulting these devotees are happening. Devotees of Shriram were mistreated in Rajasthan. Besides this, an incident of stone pelting and sword attack on the devotees of Shriram by a mob of religious fanatics in Madhya Pradesh also came to light recently.
