New Delhi – The Supreme Court dismissed Mukta Dabholkar’s petition against the bail granted to Vikram Bhave, a suspect in the Narendra Dabholkar murder case on 5th January. Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain appeared on behalf of Vikram Bhave in the Supreme Court.
While rejecting this petition, Justice M.M. Sundresh and S.V. Bhati’s bench said, “The bail granted by the Bombay High Court to the accused in this case is reasonable. Therefore, there is no reason to entertain the application.”
Vikram Bhave is accused of helping accused Sachin Andure and Sharad Kalaskar. CBI arrested Bhave on 25th May 2019 based on the statement given by the accused Kalaskar. He was granted bail on 6th May 2021. Advocate Subhash Jha represented Bhave in the Bombay High Court. In this case, Virendra Ichalkaranjikar, the advocate of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad, is looking after the proceedings of the case in Pune. Dabholkar was murdered on 20th August 2013.
