Why not order a CBI probe in Swami Laxmananda Saraswati murder case – Orissa HC asks State Government

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) – Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati and his 4 disciples were killed by Maoists on 23rd August 2008 at Kandhamal in Odisha. Concerning this case, the Orissa High Court has now asked the Government why a CBI probe should not be ordered. A deadline of 5th March 2024 has been given to respond. Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati was working in Kandhamal for the welfare of tribals. He was also converting back Hindus who had earlier converted to Christianity.
