Between 1st-15th January, Akshata and picture of Shriram will be distributed to 60 crore people

VHP and RSS organise the event

Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh – For the inauguration of the Shriram Temple here, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are organising a nationwide campaign from 1st to 15th January. During this period, they will distribute Akshata (sacred rice) offered in rituals at the Shriram Janmabhoomi and a picture of Shriram to 60 crore people (Approx. 12 crore families)

VHP to host events in 5 lakh Villages nationwide on 22nd January  

VHP Union Minister Ambareesh stated that on 22nd January, a programme will be organised in 5 lakh villages across the country. The Abhishek (consecration) ceremony at the Shriram Temple will be broadcasted live. All residents of the villages will be invited, making the entire nation resonate with the spirit of ‘Shriram.’

Bow and arrow of Shriram’s Idol’s to adorned with gold and diamonds

For the Shriram Temple, a total of 3 Idols are being crafted. Among these, the selection of one Idol is underway. Out of these 3 Idols, 2 have already been completed. The Idols were sculpted by Arun Yogiraj of Mysuru. The bow and arrow of these Idols will be adorned with gold and diamonds, as revealed by Yogiraj.
