Lalit destroyed the evidence of four accused by burning their mobile phones
Accused Lalit Jha
New Delhi – Lalit Jha, the alleged mastermind in Parliament security breach incident, surrendered before the Delhi Police. Four individuals, including a woman, were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the incident. They have been charged under the anti-terror law UAPA, in addition to various Sections of the Indian Penal Code. Lalit Jha was absconding since the incident. Lalit Jha, accompanied by another man, reached the Kartavya Path Police station and surrendered.
1.Delhi’s Patiala House Court granted seven days custodial remand of the other four accused arrested in connection with the Parliament security breach matter. Jha came with the four others to the Parliament. When they got only two entry passes, he decided to take the mobile phones of all four, Sagar, Manoranjan, Neelam and Amol, with him.
2.Lalit Jha was present outside the Parliament building at the time of the incident. After the incident, he ran away with all mobiles. The Police were on his trail. After fleeing, Lalit destroyed all the evidences. Delhi Police will take the accused to the Parliament House in a day or two to create a scene of how this incident actually happened to investigate this incident.
3.Accused Vishal Sharma, who was arrested from Gurugram, told the inquiry that he has no connection with any terrorist organisation. He had been plotting to intrude the Parliament for one and a half years. Lalit wanted to broadcast the footage of the incident live on Facebook. The Delhi Police told the Court that the accused were also found with offensive leaflets against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Two plans were made to intrude the Lok Sabha
The accused made two plans to intrude the Parliament. Lalit Jha informed the Police inquiry that if the first plan was not successful, then he had a plan B. Lalit Jha told the Police that if Neelam and Amol could not reach the Parliament as planned, we had planned to send Mahesh and Kailash to the Parliament premises from the other side. From there, another plan was made that they would burst ‘Colour smoke tubes’ and raise slogans in front of the media; but Mahesh and Kailash could not reach Vicky’s house in Gurugram. So we decided to send Amol and Neelam to the Parliament building as per the first plan. Both of them were instructed to complete their assigned work under any circumstances.
Editorial Perspective
The Government should take strict action against all of them and bring out the truth to the public by investigating who conspired to carry out this act. |
