Inauguration of Shriram Temple to complete 1 year : Devotees crowd the city of Ayodhya

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – The grand Shriram Temple that was inaugurated last year will complete one year soon. On that occasion, a large number of devotees have come to Ayodhya. Many people are also expected to come for darshan on the occasion of the New Year. Hotels in Ayodhya and surrounding cities are already booked. The Shriram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has extended the time for darshan. Arrangements are in place to handle the crowd. Now, darshan facility will be made available from 7 a.m. till 10 p.m.

1. A hotel owner in Ayodhya said that there will be a huge rush of devotees till January 15^th.

2. A local priest said that just like the Hindu New Year, a large number of people visit temples on the occasion of the Christian New Year and seek God’s blessings. On this occasion, many people will come to visit the Shriram Temple.

3. The temple trust has made special arrangements, especially from December 30^th to January 15^th.

4. Ayodhya Police have increased security at the temple and other important places.

Unprecedented crowd in Uttar Pradesh due to Shriram Temple

In the year 2022, an estimated 32 crore people visited Uttar Pradesh. In the year 2024, however, more than 32 crore people have visited here in just 6 months. In January 2024 alone, as many as 7 crore people visited Uttar Pradesh. The State Government says that tourism in the State is growing rapidly due to the increasing number of tourists in Ayodhya and Varanasi.
