Gorakshaks attacked by religious fanatic cattle smugglers in Ahilyanagar

Shrirampur (District Ahilynagar) – Appasaheb Naikwade, Ishwar Tilekar and Sairaj Bendre, when had gone with the Police for cow’s protection in the Qureshi Mohalla (Area) of Mamdapur in Rahta Taluka on 6^th December, were attacked by cattle smugglers. The accused attacked with sickles and a swords. It was reported in the complaint that there was gun firing also. On the complaint of Appasaheb Naikwade in this case, a case has been registered against accused Niaz Qureshi, Saddam Quresh, Arbaz Qureshi along with their accomplices in Loni Police Station. At this time, Hindus had gathered at Loni Police Station to demand immediate action against the accused.

It is shameful for the administration to have fatal attacks on cow protectors when the Cattle Slaughter Ban law exists in the State. Are the Police going to take some steps for these cow protectors putting their own lives in danger to protect cows ?
