Imphal (Manipur) – Cash of Rs 18.8 crore was robbed from the Punjab National Bank in District Ukhrul in Manipur. All the robbers had covered their faces. They locked the employees in the restroom of the bank, forced the cashier to open the lock of the vault at gunpoint and ran away with the cash in it. This incident happened on the 30th of November afternoon. Police are investigating the case.

The Police officials said that the robbers were well equipped with the most modern weapons when they forcibly entered the bank. They attacked the bank’s security and threatened the employees with a gun.
