Karachi (Pakistan) – On April 15 a procession was taken out on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, with slogans, ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Jai Hanuman’. The procession passed in front of many mosques; however, there was no attack or stone pelting. A large number of women also participated in this procession.
There is a 1500-year-old temple in Karachi. On Hanuman Jayanti, thousands of Hindus in Karachi had come to pay their respects at the 1500-year-old Panchmukhi Hanuman temple. Hindus coming to hoist the flag in the temple have great faith in this temple. Thousands of people reached the streets of Karachi carrying flags on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
Editorial PerspectiveIt would be surprising for anyone to organise a peaceful Hanuman Jayanti procession in Karachi with no attack, and it is equally impossible to believe that this will always happen like this, considering the mentality of religious fanatics. |
