Pakistan demolishes Sharada Peeth temple in PoK

‘Coffee House’ constructed on the temple land

Karachi (Pakistan) – All Hindu temples are targeted one after another in Pakistan. Pakistan demolished the ancient Sharada Peeth Temple in Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The temple’s land has been forcibly taken over and a ‘Coffee House’ has been built on the same. Pakistan’s Supreme Court had instructed to safeguard this temple; still, the temple was demolished disregarding the Court order. This ancient temple was a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) site.

‘Coffee House’ has been built on the demolished temple

Shri Hinglaj Mata Temple was recently destroyed in Pakistan’s Sindh Province, which too was a UNESCO site to be preserved.  In July 2023, Shri Mari Mata Temple was demolished in Pakistan.
