New Delhi – According to data released by CAIT, India had a record turnover of Rs 3.75 crore. It is expected to cross 4.25 crore by Kartik Pournima. The Chief Secretary of CAIT, Praveen Khandelwal said, this year during Diwali, China had to face a loss of Rs 1 lakh crore. Earlier, during Diwali, Chinese goods used to grab 70% of the Indian market. This year it was much less. Indian businessmen did not import anything related to Diwali from China. This positive result of the Prime Minister’s ‘Make in India’ campaign. Sales jumped across the country as the products by local producers, artisans and artists flooded the market. This year’s Diwali showcased India’s self-sufficiency.
