Columbia (USA) – Famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has condemned Israel for attacking civilians in Gaza. She described the attack on Gaza as a ‘deliberate bombing of a trapped population’. She said, “Millions of Palestinian citizens are being collectively punished and dehumanised. By refusing to demand a humanitarian ceasefire and blocking the UN Security Council from imposing one on both parties, world leaders are complicit in these crimes”.
Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie has been working as a Special Envoy for the ‘United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees’ for the last 20 years. On 30th October, Jolie had called the Hamas attack of 7th October an ‘act of terrorism’. However, she also mentioned that the civilians of Gaza should not be punished for that attack.
