Who are jehovah’s witnesses ?

Jehovah’s Witnesses is a Christian denomination that originated in the United States in the late 19th century. It is known for its distinctive beliefs and practices, which differ from mainstream Christianity. Central to its faith is the belief in Jehovah as the name of God, and that the end of the world is imminent.

Periodically, Jehovah’s Witnesses in India organise conventions and assemblies. These events serve as a way for members to come together for religious instruction, encouragement, and fellowship. These gatherings may host a few hundred to a few thousand attendees.

Editorial Perspectives

  • It is not surprising that such incidents occur in Kerala; where the administration, political parties, and secular organisations are there to shield the jihadis and jihadi organisations.
  • As this blast has occurred in Kerala, the lips are sealed of all the secular political parties. If such an incident had occurred in a BJP-ruled State these parties would have moved heaven and earth and raised such a hue and cry criticising the BJP.
  • In Kerala, 3 days ago, a leader of the Hamas had spoken online at an event, organised by an Islamic organisation. One may conclude that it is not a coincidence that this blast has occurred after the event in Kerala.
