Mrs Vijaya Panvalkar (Age 84) from Devrukh (Ratnagiri) becomes Sanatan’s 126th Vyashti Saint

H.H. (Mrs) Vijaya Panvalkar

Devrukh (Ratnagiri) – On 5th October 2023, Mrs Vijaya Vasant Panvalkar (Age 84) from Devrukh, who constantly remains in communion with Shrikrushna and has many virtues such as consistency in sadhana (Spiritual practice) and tenacity, became Sanatan’s 126th Vyashti Saint. Sadguru (Ms) Swati Khadaye (Sanatan’s Dharmapracharak) visited Mrs Vijaya Panvalkar’s home in Devrukh and gave the joyous news. Sadguru Satyavan Kadam (Sanatan’s Dharmapracharak) too graced the occasion. Mr Vinay Panvalkar (H.H. [Mrs] Vijaya Panvalkar’s son), Mrs Neha Panvalkar (Her daughter-in-law) and some seekers from Devrukh experienced these blissful moments. Mrs Prachi Juvekar (Her daughter), Mr Hemant Juvekar (Her son-in-law), Mr Prashant Juvekar (Her grandson) and Mrs Kshipra Juvekar (Mr Prashant’s wife) attended the event Online. Sadguru (Ms) Swati Khadaye felicitated Her with a shawl, a coconut and a memento.

The most remarkable aspect of Mrs Vijaya Panvalkar (Age 84) is that her upbringing was neither religious nor was she spiritual since childhood; however, after getting introduced to sadhana (Spiritual practice) as per Gurukrupayoga (Path of Guru’s grace) from her son Mr Vinay Panvalkar in 1996 (when she was 56), she immediately started on sadhana and satseva (Serving the God Principle) regularly. As soon as she became a subscriber of the Daily and Weekly Sanatan Prabhat, she started participating proactively in various related sevas such as distributing Sanatan Prabhat at bus stations, arranging the pages of Sanatan Prabhat, pasting addresses of readers on them, seeking donations for Gurupurnima, etc. Later, their home became the centre for Sanatan Sanstha at Devrukh.

She encouraged Mr Vinay Panvalkar and Mrs Neha Vinay Panvalkar (Her daughter-in-law) to wind up their business. She also motivated Mrs Prachi Hemant Juvekar (Her daughter) and Mr Hemant Juvekar (Her son-in-law) to quit their jobs and perform full-time sadhana instead. In addition, she took care of her grandchildren and managed their home.

Mrs Vijaya Panvalkar started performing sadhana more intensely after she realised the importance of increasing the spiritual level to survive the adverse times. As a result, at 74, she attained the spiritual level of 61% in 2014.

Thereafter, Mrs Vijaya Panvalkar resolved to attain Sainthood before she breathed her last. Accordingly, she increased her yearning for sadhana. However, she could not go out for Prasar seva (Propagation of Spirituality) due to knee pain and other physical constraints. Notwithstanding these seemingly challenging circumstances, she enhanced her communion with Shrikrushna. She started expressing herself to Shrikrushna and sought His guidance. She had spiritual experiences that Shrikrushna is actively speaking to and guiding her. Accordingly, regular chanting, contemplating on various aspects of sadhana and performing activities as advised by Shrikrushna became her routine sadhana.

Mrs Vijaya Panvalkar, who yearns to attain Moksha (Final Liberation), does not speak much about worldly affairs with relatives who visit her. Instead, she passionately speaks about sadhana and Spirituality with them. She has many virtues such as consistency in sadhana, the ability to plan to perfection and tenacity; she makes sincere efforts to eliminate her personality defects and ego aspects. Of late, she has been consciously trying to overcome her likes and dislikes (this helps in the faster dissolution of the mind). Furthermore, she has also started to embrace every situation as God’s gift. Such is her bhav (Spiritual emotion).

Mr Vinay Panvalkar and Mrs Neha Vinay Panvalkar are engaged in various sevas related to the propagation of Spirituality in Devrukh, Ratnagiri. Mrs Prachi Hemant Juvekar and Mr Hemant Juvekar are performing full-time seva in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, while Mr Prashant Juvekar and Mrs Kshipra Juvekar (who is at the spiritual level of 64%) are performing full-time seva in Jalgaon, Maharashtra.

Mrs Vijaya Panvalkar encouraged her family members to perform samashti sadhana (Sadhana for the spiritual upliftment of society) despite the fact that she was not able to participate in it herself; she has become a role model for all parents. She was at the spiritual level of 69% in July 2023. Her virtues, which include her sacrificing attitude, intense yearning to attain Moksha, and the ability to constantly remain in communion with Shrikrushna, increased her spiritual level by another 2% in just two months. Thus, she attained the spiritual level of 71% on this auspicious day (5.10.2023) and has become Sanatan’s 126th Vyashti Saint. I am certain that she will continue to progress fast spiritually.
