Minor girl raped by a maulvi living in the Madarasa inside a Mosque in Muzaffarnagar (UP)

Muzaffarnagar (UP) – A Maulavi named Irfan of a Madarasa in Budhana village raped a 9-year-old minor girl who was coming to study there. The Police have registered a case in this regard and are currently searching for the lecherous Maulavi. As for the condition of the victim, it started deteriorating after the rape and she was admitted to the hospital. This Madarasa was inside the Noorjah Masjid. Local Muslim boys and girls come to this Madarasa to get educated.

Editorial Perspectives

• Incidents ranging from sheltering of terrorists to rapes are always coming to the fore in madarasas. Considering the above, madarasas in the country should be closed down.
• It would not be surprising if people demand that such lustful people should be punished just like in the Arab countries, as per Shari’ah law, where the criminal is tied up in a square and stoned to death.
