
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Encroachments have been found on the lands belonging to Category A, B and C temples under the Religious Endowments Department. Therefore, the Karnataka Government has decided to take action to remove these encroachments, Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara said.
Speaking on the issue, he said that officials in every district have been instructed to conduct surveys and remove the encroachments. He added that devotees should not face any inconvenience while having darshan, receiving prasad or availing accommodation at temples. No unnecessary expenditure will be allowed under any circumstances. “We will take strict action,” he said.
