Union Govt seeks instructions to prevent online fraud of consumers

New Delhi – People have already been advised to be vigilant to avoid online fraud of consumers. The Union Government has now sought suggestions from the people in this regard. The strategy devised for this kind of fraud is called ‘dark pattern’. Therefore, the Government has made an appeal using this term. The Government has asked for suggestions by 5th October. The guidelines will then be applied to all public and online forums including marketers and advertisers. Even so, the question is how many suggestions the Government will get as people do not know what a dark pattern is.
