Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College in Kolkata asks students to take an undertaking

Kolkata (Bengal) – Students willing to take admission to the first year in Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College in Kolkata have been asked to submit an undertaking along with their admission application form. It reads, ‘Having been admitted to Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College, I will never enter inside college premises wearing torn/artificially torn jeans or any kind of indecent dresses. I do hereby affirm that I shall wear normal civil dresses during my study period inside the entire college premises. It is mandatory for the students to sign this undertaking and enclose it with the admission application form.

Rules must be followed – Principal of the Bose College
Purna Chandra Maity, the Principal of the college, expressed that last year too they issued similar guidelines. Despite that, some students were seen wearing torn jeans inside the college premises. Hence, to ensure adherence, this year they are asking for an undertaking from the new students. Students can dress as they wish outside the college, but inside they must follow the discipline of the college.
