ISRO Chief S Somanath expresses his views after performing puja at a temple in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – S Somanath, the Chief of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), visited the Pournamikavu Bhadrakali Temple in Thiruvananthapuram following the successful Chandrayan-3 spacecraft mission. During a conversation with reporters, he expressed that India possesses the capability to send spacecraft to Mars and Venus. However, he emphasised the necessity to bolster our self-confidence in order to achieve such feats. Somanath added that enhanced self-assurance would empower us to reach every planet in the cosmos.

Furthermore, S Somanath highlighted the imperative for increased financial investment in the development of our space sector, which aligns with our overarching goal of national advancement.
