Jaipur (Rajasthan) – There has been an increase on atrocities against women in Rajasthan. Our Government has been unsuccessful in providing security to women in the State.  Rajendra Singh Gudha was sacked  as a minister of State in his Government, within hours after Gudha made the statement in the Assembly  that the Government should introspect rather than talk about stripping and parading and raping of women in Manipur.

Gudha stood up and criticised his own Government’s crime record when during the debate on the minimum income Bill 2023 introduced by the Government, a Congress MLA brought up the question of the atrocities on women in Manipur, stripping parading them through the streets and then raping them.

Provide security to the women of Rajasthan rather than sacking me ! – Rajendra Gudha

What is the use of sacking me from the post ? Instead work for providing security for the women. I am going to ask everyone about this in the Assembly, reacted Rajendra Gudha.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said this is an internal matter of the Party

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot

When Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was asked by journalists at function about the sacking of Rajendra Gudha, Gehlot said that it is our party’s internal matter. We will discuss it internally among ourselves. If you have any questions about this function you can ask. (From this, it is clear how much importance the Chief Minister gives to the issue of security for women. – Editor)

Editorial Viewpoint

This is the real mentality of the Congress ! Does this Congress have the moral right to speak about the security and dignity of women ? Why do Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi not speak on this subject ?
