NIA raids conducted on ‘Al Sufa’ a terrorist organisation in Ratlam

A ‘Poultry farm’ alleged to be their place of training was also sealed !

Ratlam (MP) –  The National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided a place belonging to the terrorist organisation ‘Al Sufa’ at a village called Julwania in the District of Ratlam. A ‘Poultry farm’ being used by this organisation belonging to Imran was sealed because they were training for making bombs. Imran and his accomplices were using this place to hatch their plans of carrying out terrorist attacks. Imran is also accused of carrying out the attack in Jaipur. On 30th March 2022, the Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad and the Special Operation Group arrested three Al Sufa terrorists possessing explosives at Nimbaheda in Chittorgarh District. They were going to detonate bombs at different places in Jaipur. Upon their investigation, the above information on Ratlam was obtained. After this, several people were arrested. Among them was Imran who was the mastermind behind all of this. He was the one providing training on making bombs and other things.

The Al Sufa is heavily influenced by the terrorist organisation ‘Islamic State’. It was established in Ratlam in the year 2012. At that time, there were about 40 to 50 terrorists in this organisation. Later their ranks swelled. In 2014, Bajrang Dal leader Kapil Rathod and Pukhraj, who worked in his restaurant were killed by these terrorists in Ratlam. Along with this, another person called Tarun Sankhla was killed in Ratlam in 2017.
