East Champaran (Bihar) – A Hindu girl from Bihar was lured by Muhammad Kais. In Delhi, he converted her and married her. The victim’s family informed the Police after realising that the two had returned to the village; however, the family had a strange experience with the Police. During the investigation, Muhammad Meraj Khan alerted the Love Jihadist Muhammad Kais about the incident and investigated slowly. It has come to light that he also took a bribe from Muhammad Kais.
This incident took place in the Turkauliya area of the East Champaran District of Bihar. The victim’s family found a video of Muhammad Meraj Khan accepting a bribe from Muhammad Kais while investigating the case of Love Jihad. Khan tried to destroy the mobile phone on which the video was stored when he realised this. Considering the seriousness of the incident, the Deputy Mayor of Motihari Nagar Dr Lalbabu Prasad informed the District Superintendent of Police about this. The Superintendent assured that the matter would be investigated impartially.
