Stone-pelting occurred when the Vande Bharat Express was passing between Kadur and Birur railway stations in Karnataka damaging one coach of this train. Indian Railways has started an investigation in this case. Earlier, stones were pelted at the same train. That time also, it caused a lot of damage to one coach. Even earlier, number of incidents of stone-pelting at the Vande Bharat Express have taken place in many parts of the country.
