Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale
Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Nilesh Singbal (One of the two Spiritual Heirs of Sachchidananda Parabrahman [Dr] Athavale, Sanatan Sanstha)
Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale Incarnated on Earth on Vaishakha Krushna Saptami. Every seeker celebrates this day as the birthday of Shri Guru with utmost devotion in his heart. The birth celebration of Shri Guru is unique and Divine for the seekers that is sweeter than nectar. Due to Shri Guru’s birthday, a calm stream of devotion flows in the heart of seekers and they get the spiritual experience of Atmanananda (Bliss experienced by the soul) and Atmanashanti (Serenity experienced by the soul). On Shri Guru’s birth Anniversary, which is such a Divine celebration, let us learn about the greatness of Shri Vishnu-form Gurudev and engrave it in golden letters in the temple of our heart.

Shri Vishnu is the Sustainer and Controller of the entire world, one of the three Deities born from the Adipurush Paramatman (Supreme God) for Creation. This is the Divine and Supreme form of Shri Vishnu unto whose Holy feet not only 33 crore Deities, 88,000 Sages-Ascetics, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Kinnars surrender, but Brahmadev and Mahadev as well. This is the Adinarayan ! Saptarshis have glorified Gurudev as the Incarnation of Shri Vishnu in Kaliyug. Attempting to describe the infinite biography of such an Incarnate-form would be like a drop in the ocean. Yet, taking advantage of the golden opportunity of His birth Anniversary, I am dedicating this flower of gratitude in the form of words unto the Holy feet of Gurudev.

While describing the Divine form of Shri Vishnu, Shri Vishnu Sahasranam says :

Shukla-Ambara-Dharam Vishnum Shashi-Varnnam Chatur-Bhujam | Prasanna-Vadanam Dhyaayet Sarva-Vighnopashaantaye ||

Meaning : (We Meditate on Shri Vishnu) Who is wearing white clothes, who is All-pervading, who is bright in appearance like the Moon and who has four hands, who has a compassionate and gracious face; One should meditate on Him to ward of all obstacles.

Upon remembering Shri Jayant, who is the Incarnation of Shri Vishnu in the present phase of Kaliyug within Kaliyug, meaning, upon remembering Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, the above verse is absolutely true in His context. Through this description let us understand the Shri Vishnu-form Incarnation of Shri Guru and the Principle of Vishnu in Him.

1. Shri Guru’s radiant form is a symbol of His being an Incarnation and the Principle of Shri Vishnu in Him

The original form of Shri Vishnu is Adinarayan. We also find a narrative that Shriram, Shrikrushna are the forms of Shri Vishnu whose skin complexion is dark and blue respectively. The form of this Shri Jayant Incarnation of Shri Vishnu in Kaliyug is quite different; meaning, as described in a Sanskrut verse, His skin is fair and radiant like the Moon. The brilliance of Shri Guru’s Incarnate form is so great that upon looking at Him, seekers see only light ! This is the experience of Shri Guru’s Incarnate nature and the Principle of Vishnu in Him. This proves that Shri Vishnu, the Controller of the world, has Incarnated in the form of Shri Jayant in this phase of Kaliyug. This is the ultimate truth.

2. Looking at Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s simple form in white clothes reminds us of Shukla-Ambara-Dharam Shri Vishnu

Shri Vishnu is described as Shukla-Ambara-Dharam, meaning, one who wears white. Similarly, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale’s usual attire is also a white pyjama and kurta. Seeing Him in white attire reminds one of Shukla-Ambara-Dharam Shri Vishnu. The seekers have had Shri Guru’s Darshan in the various Incarnate forms as per the instructions of Maharshi. Seeing Him in the form of the Incarnations of Shriram, Shrikrushna, Shri Vishnu and Shri Satyanarayan, revealed to seekers the Incarnate nature of Shri Guru. As much as the seekers benefited from the Darshan of His Incarnate forms, and from His simple appearance in white attire they also benefited from the Incarnate Principle. Seekers have had the spiritual experience that all the Principles of Deities are present in these simple forms of Shri Guru in white attire. They find this form attractive, because this is Shri Vishnu’s form in Kaliyug.

3. As soon as seekers remember the ever-so-compassionate Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale, their faces automatically light up with a smile

Bhagawan (Note) Vishnu is nurturing this world with His compassion. When we utter ‘Shri Vishnu’, we immediately see a pleasant and compassionate form in front of our eyes and we feel happy. Similarly, as soon as we remember Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev, we automatically smile. There is so much affection in Shri Guru that not only upon seeing Him, but also remembering Him brings a smile on the face of the seekers. Seekers like the form of Shri Guru in a blissful state, which they perceive through their subtle eyes. As soon as they remember Him, all the emotions in their hearts manifest. This is proof of Shri Guru’s immense love. This is Shri Vishnu-form Guru’s most loving and pleasant form.

Note : Shri Vishnu is also simply called Bhagawan. Just looking at Shri Guru’s blissful countenance or upon remembering Him, all the thoughts cease. The numerous thought-form storms surrounding our mind subside. It is as if all obstacles are eliminated by merely remembering Him. Simply said, this is the majesty of the supremely auspicious form of Shri Guru only. We pray at the Holy feet of Shri Vishnu-form Gurumouli, that may His pleasant form remain perpetually instated in the temple of our heart.

4. Shri Vishnu’s weapons

As soon as we remember Shri Vishnu, we see Him with four arms. The function of weapons in these four arms is now also coming forth through the medium of the Shri Jayant Incarnation. We realised the following meaning of these weapons.

4A. Panchajanya conch : Looking at the four-armed form of Bhagawan Vishnu, the first aspect we remember is the conch in His upper left hand. The conch is sounded when the form of Bhagawan manifests. First the sound reaches the ears and then one has the Darshan of God. Shri Vishnu holds the Panchajanya conch, the king of conch shells. The mere sound of this conch makes the demons flee.

4A 1. By the will of God, the auspicious sound of the conch in the form of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will be heard in all the three worlds : Shri Vishnu-form Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev has taken birth only for the Incarnate mission of reinstating Dharma. We are going to experience the embodiment of Dharma in the form of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Shri Guru has sounded the conch to declare the commencement of establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Saints, authorities on Spirituality everywhere, Sages and Deities are singing the glory of this mission. There is a feeling that the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is approaching through various media. By God’s will, this auspicious sound of the conch will be heard in all the three worlds. Let us have full faith in the mission of Shri Vishnu-form Gurudev without any doubt.

4B. Sudarshan Chakra

4B 1. The brilliant Sudarshan Chakra, which is a part of God’s effulgence, is worthy of being worshipped by the entire world : Shri Vishnu holds the Sudarshan Chakra on the finger of His upper right hand. The power to control Kaal (Time) is in God’s hands. God is in control of everything. So long as this Chakra is in His hands, it is ‘Su-darshan’, meaning, the Darshan (Vision) is beneficial and for the world’s welfare.

Once it leaves His hand, it proves to be disastrous for the Universe. This radiant Sudarshan Chakra, which is a part of God’s own effulgence, is Vishwavandya (Worthy of being worshipped by the entire world).

4B 2. This Sudarshan Chakra is now working in Kaliyug to shower incessant grace and Chaitanya on the devotees : The Chakra in Shri Vishnu’s hand is the destroyer of demons and saviour of devotees. This is the same Chakra that constantly accompanied the devotee Ambarish and protected him. Similarly, this Chakra is going to protect all the devotees of Shri Vishnu who have strong faith in and devotion unto Him in this phase of Kaliyug as well. This Sudarshan Chakra is presently functioning to shower incessant grace and Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) on the devotees.

God controls Time. Hence, the time to establish the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is also in the hands of God-form Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev. The moment He wishes to create a time conducive for the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, that moment it will be established on Earth. Until then, let us all experience the incessant shower of Guru’s grace and Chaitanya emanating from this subtle Sudarshan Chakra.

4C. Mace

4C 1. Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s mace-like protective sheath is working continuously : The weapon that is always in Bhagawan’s hand is the Koumodaki Mace.

‘Mod’ means Bliss. This is the Koumodaki Mace of Shri Vishnu that brings happiness to the entire world by saving it from the troubles created by demons. Shri Vishnu lovingly holds this very bright Koumodaki Mace in the front left hand. The spiritual practice taught by Shri Vishnu-form Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev has the ability to eliminate all the distresses of the human race and bestow Anand (Bliss).

The impenetrable protective sheath created by the spiritual practice taught by Shri Guru is a protection against the troubles created by negative energies. This impenetrable sheath of spiritual practice acts like a mace for seekers to ward off the attacks of negative energies. This mace-shaped sheath created by Shri Vishnu-form Shri Guru is continuously active with every devotee of God. Let us experience it.

4D. Lotus

4D 1. Like the Lotus in Shri Vishnu’s hand, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale holds the seekers in His hand : In His fourth hand, Shri Vishnu holds a Lotus. He holds it so delicately that it awakens our bhav (Spiritual emotion).

Just like the Lotus in Shri Vishnu’s hand, Shri Vishnu-form Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev holds the seekers in His hand very delicately. He has taken care of not only the seekers, but all the God-worshipping souls in the world.

Seekers have had many spiritual experiences of automatically and easily finding their way through even the most difficult of situations. They have been saved from terrible accidents. Even though the path of the seekers was tough, they were not troubled. All this did not happen easily or by chance; it is the culmination of the immense grace of Shri Vishnu-form Gurudev. He has held the seekers in His hand so as to protect them.

There is absolutely no doubt that Shri Guru will protect the true devotees in this way even during the coming extreme adverse times. As a result, the seekers will not even know when the adverse times came and when they were over.

5. Shri Vishnu has a thousand Names and infinite functions; likewise, Shri Vishnu-form Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev has infinite functions, which are impossible to describe

If a simple analysis of one verse from ‘Shri Vishnu Sahasranam’ reveals all these aspects, then to know and describe the eternal form of Shri Vishnu is impossible. This is proof that Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev is fully enriched with the Shri Vishnu Principle. On the occasion of His birth Anniversary, we pay obeisance to His Vishnu-Principle-enriched eternal and infinite form.

6. Prayer

O’ Narayan-form Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev ! You have Incarnated on this planet for the welfare of the entire world and reinstating Dharma. We pray unto Your Moksha-imparting Lotus feet – ‘May Your divinity in the form of Shri Vishnu get impressed upon the minds of the seekers. May all seekers have firm loyalty to You as Bhaktvatsal (One who cares for His devotees), Pritivatsal (One who showers unconditional love) and Krupavatsal (One who graces His devotees). May the faith of all seekers increase by realising the Incarnate Principle of Shri Vishnu, which is present in You in abundance’.

Note:

Individual spiritual experiences of seekers published in SanatanPrabhat are according to the Principle – ‘Where there is bhav (Spiritual emotion), there is God’. It is not that every individual will have similar experiences.

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale has never called Himself an Avatar (Incarnation). Nor does Sanatan Sanstha call Him an Avatar.

According to the ancient and profound Nadibhavishya, the Saptarshis have written the future of every individual.

Saptarshis have written the Jeevnadipattis through H.H. (Dr) OmUlagnathan, who says in Tamil that Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale is an Incarnation of Shri Vishnu.

Saptarshis have glorified Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale as the Incarnation of Shri Vishnu in Kaliyug !

Just like the Lotus in Shri Vishnu’s hand, Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev holds seekers very delicately !
