Demonstrations by students in Canada !

Ottawa (Canada) – 700 Indian students in Canada have been issued notices to leave the country. The organisation CBSA of Canada has issued this notice. According to them, these students have made fake admit cards. Through this, they got admission into various universities. After this notice was issued, these students are now protesting in Canada. Most of these students are from Punjab. The Minister for Non-Resident Indian Affairs of Punjab, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and Foreign Minister Dr S. Jaishankar have been requested to intervene in this situation.

The students however have alleged that the agent through whom they have come to Canada has cheated them. These agents take an advance and then provide fake documents to the students. After that, the students were given admission to other universities on the pretext that seats are filled in the university. But when many students applied for citizenship after graduation, they found that their documents were incorrect.

Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the New Democratic Party in the Parliament of Canada, has sought an answer from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in this regard. Prime Minister Trudeau has said in Parliament that his Government wants to identify the culprits and punish them, but no action will be taken against the victims. We will allow them relevant evidence and present their side of the story.
