Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – Pachhua Dehradun area is reportedly becoming a centre of Love Jihad. Hindu girls are being lured into love affairs and forced to convert and marry. According to Hindu organisations, minor Hindu girls are brought to the hotels. They are sexually abused and filmed in the rooms there. Then using those videos, these girls are blackmailed and forced to convert and marry.

8-10 cases of Love Jihad have come to light in Pachhua Dehradun in the last 2 weeks. In the latest incident, Farhan lured a Hindu girl who works in a beauty parlour. He sexually engaged with her and filmed the act and was blackmailing her using that video. Even after this girl got married to another person, Farhan kept blackmailing her and calling her to the hotel. A complaint was lodged with the Police after the organisation Vedic Mission received information about this. After that, the Police arrested Farhan. Farhan’s brother Naeem Salmani, who helped him, has also been arrested. The accused in 3 different cases of Love Jihad in Pachhua Dehradun had earlier travelled to Kerala. Owing to this, the Police are now investigating whether Muslim youths from Uttarakhand are trained for Love Jihad in Kerala. Along with this, the Police are also investigating whether the conspiracy of Love Jihad has been hatched in this area.

Take strict action ! – CM Pushkar Singh Dhami orders Police
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed concern over the increasing incidents of Love Jihad in the State. He has ordered the Director-General of Police to take strict action in such cases under the Anti-Conversion Act. He also said that Devbhoomi (the land of Deities) Uttarakhand will not be allowed to become a centre of Love Jihad.
