A ‘scarf’ is being misunderstood as Hijab ! – Mushtaq Khan claims
Mushtaq Khan, the Director of the Ganga Jamna Higher Secondary Schoolhas claimed that the scarf is a part of the school uniform; but no one is forced to wear it. It is this scarf that is being viewed as a Hijab.
Editorial Viewpoint
It needs to be investigated that most schools in the nation do not have a scarf in their uniform for girl students; yet this school is making a scarf compulsory as wearing a Hijab would be strongly opposed. |
