
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) – State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the ‘Vayuyan Se Tirth Yatra’ ( visiting Pilgrimage sites by Air) initiative on 21st May under the ‘Mukhyamantri Tirtha Darshan Yojana’. Now, senior citizens will be able to visit Prayagraj, Shirdi, Mathura-Vrindavan and Gangasagar Dham for free. On21st May, in the presence of Chief Minister Chouhan, the first group of senior citizens left Bhopal Airport for Prayagraj. This included 32 senior citizens. Thus, by 19th July 2023, senior citizens of 25 Districts of the State will be taken to the pilgrimage site through 25 flights.
Addressing the senior citizens present on the occasion, Chouhan said, “One needs spiritual peace. The resolve I made in this regard was fulfilled today. By the grace of Shriram, you will visit the pilgrimage sites and your blessings will reach Madhya Pradesh.”
