Tipu, a film to be made on tyrant Tipu Sultan’s jihadi fanaticism

Mumbai – The tyrant ruler of Mysuru, Karnataka is known as ‘Sultan’ for his so-called bravery, war skill, and political strategy. Tipu was falsely portrayed as a great freedom fighter in textbooks, but the dark truth about him needs to be exposed, stated Sandeep Singh, the producer of a forthcoming film titled ‘The Story of a fanatic Sultan’ in his tweet on the 4th of May 2023 while announcing about this film. Singh is presently making a film titled ‘Swatantryaveer Savarkar’.

Sandeep Singh said, “People don’t know that Tipu Sultan was a fanatic jihadi. History books are filled with his valour, but when Rajat Sethi, the writer of this film, read out the story of this film, it gave me goosebumps. It is necessary to expose his dark history to the future generations.”

Information about the date of this film and its cast is yet to be declared. This film will be made in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, besides Hindi.

Tipu was a Hitler of his era – Film Director Pawan Sharma

The film Director Pawan Sharma said that he was shocked to know the facts about Tipu as a fanatic Muslim king. He was disturbed. History has been distorted. In fact, Tipu had converted many people to Islam and destroyed temples and churches. He was a Hitler of his era.

He was a tyrannical demon – Film writer Rajat Sethi

Film writer Rajat Sethi said that not only history books but even mediums like films, plays, cultural programmes, etc. have very cleverly avoided showing the truth about Tipu and there has not been a balanced portrayal. We are trying to correct these things through this film. He was a tyrannical demon; therefore, I want to expose his bad deeds to the world. In fact, he doesn’t deserve to be called a Sultan.

Releasing video on the dreadful truth about Tipu

Producer Sandeep Singh has released a 50-second video along with his tweet, giving information about his film. Facts on Tipu’s tyranny such as the destruction of 8,000 temples and 27 churches; forceful conversion of 40 lakh Hindus and forcing them to eat beef; keeping more than a lakh Hindus in prisons; killing 2,000 Brahmin families at Calicut, etc. and ‘jihad’ as his war-slogan as he started wars from 1783, are shown in this video.
